BNCLT’s Inaugural Solar Panels

We are now installing the crowning jewel of the energy retrofit project at 14 Leroy Street: solar arrays on the roof! Through Resonant Energy’s Solar Access Program, BNCLT is “renting out” the roof to a third party who is responsible for owning, maintaining, and insuring the solar array. BNCLT and its residents at 14 Leroy then get a portion of the energy credits from the energy output (estimated 1,234 of the 6,626 Kilowat per hour), which are allocated across the building to our residents and the common area. This will mean monthly savings for our residents and reducing our reliance on other sources of energy — a climate forward project we hope to replicate at other properties.
